Indonesian Business Council (IBC) is the association of Indonesian business and industry leaders working towards strengthening the nation's competitiveness and prosperity through good public policy.
Background
The Indonesian business community recognizes the ever-evolving dynamics and complexities within the global economy, driven especially by advancements and challenges in digital technology, international trade, climate change, geopolitical shifts, sustainable economy, and the growing trend in ESG adoption.
A platform is needed for Indonesian private sector leaders to engage in dialogue, exchange ideas, and share best practices to enhance the nation's competitiveness and become a national economic force for the greater good of Indonesia.
IBC was founded in February 2023 as an independent, not-for-profit organization, unaffiliated with any political party. IBC promotes collaboration and dialogue with stakeholders to create a transparent and conducive public policy environment that boosts and strengthens Indonesia's competitiveness.
