The second session of the IBC Members’ Meeting II 2025, titled “Trust and Transformation: Rethinking Government–Business Relations,” brought together influential leaders to explore how trust fosters collaboration between the government and the private sector. The session featured distinguished speakers, including Mr. Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Minister of Health of Indonesia, and Mr. Charles Ormiston, Founding Partner of Bain & Company Southeast Asia, with moderation by IBC COO, Mr. William Sabandar, and IBC Chief Economist, Denni Purbasari.

The dialogue focused on rebuilding confidence and a shared operating culture across the public and private sectors as the foundation for inclusive, sustainable growth. Speakers discussed practical avenues for joint problem-solving to confront Indonesia’s and the world’s economic challenges, highlighting priority areas such as health, agriculture, and tourism.

Reaffirming IBC’s positioning as a business-led, policy-engaged platform for national prosperity and public welfare, the session concluded with a clear call for continuous collaboration between government and industry. IBC COO, William Sabandar, encouraged Members to actively back government initiatives—particularly in health, agriculture, and tourism—to unlock sustainable, inclusive growth that improves livelihoods across Indonesia.
