The Indonesian Business Council (IBC) recently welcomed Prof. Simon Tay, Chairman of the Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA), for discussions on Indonesia’s priorities under President Prabowo Subianto’s new administration and the future of Indonesia–Singapore relations.
Talks focused on trade, investment, and sustainability, with both sides expressing optimism about strengthening bilateral ties and navigating shared challenges in a rapidly changing global landscape. Opportunities for collaboration were identified in sectors that can drive mutual growth and regional resilience.
IBC reaffirmed its commitment to building deeper partnerships with SIIA and engaging other stakeholders to advance strategic cooperation. By fostering trust and aligning priorities, both organizations aim to contribute to sustainable economic progress and stability in the region.
