The Indonesian Business Council (IBC) welcomed Ms. Fujiko Amano, Director of Investment Facilitation at Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), for a focused dialogue on expanding bilateral investment opportunities. Ms. Amano shared Japan’s target to secure an additional 50 trillion yen in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) over the next five years to maintain economic momentum. Discussions identified potential growth sectors for collaboration, including infrastructure, green energy, and digital transformation—laying the groundwork for impactful partnerships between Indonesian and Japanese enterprises.
