The Indonesian Business Council (IBC) presented a white paper titled “15 Policy Package Recommendations to Support the Development Agenda of the President and Vice President of Indonesia 2024–2029” to the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN) Expert Council. The document, submitted during a meeting in Jakarta, outlines key development challenges and provides strategic policy solutions aimed at ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the incoming administration.
According to IBC CEO Sofyan Djalil, the recommendations address several critical issues the new government must confront. “Through this document, we have identified key challenges and provided solutions for the government’s successful implementation of its agenda,” Sofyan said in a written statement dated 30 August 2024.
Burhanuddin Abdullah, a member of the TKN Expert Council, praised the proposals, noting their importance in tackling global challenges such as climate change, technological disruption, and economic transformation. The recommendations are designed to help President-elect Prabowo Subianto and Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka execute the 8 Asta Cita Missions and other national development priorities.
