Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Harus Tingkatkan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat

The Indonesian Business Council (IBC) highlighted the need to connect economic growth with better living standards at the IES 2027 launch in Jakarta on 13 October 2026. Arsjad Rasjid emphasised how investment and business expansion can create jobs, strengthen local supply chains, and raise household incomes. CEO Sofyan A. Djalil stressed that GDP should be assessed alongside employment quality, productivity, earnings, and access to economic opportunities. Scheduled for 20–21 April 2027, IES will bring together government, businesses, and civil society to explore how growth and investment can reduce inequality, expand opportunities, and deliver tangible improvements in people’s lives across Indonesia.
