The Indonesian Business Council (IBC) released its Business Competitive Outlook 2025 report with a panel discussion bringing together leading experts and policymakers. Panelists discussed strategic directions for Indonesia’s competitiveness in an increasingly uncertain global environment with persistent risks such as commodity price volatility and high interest rates.  

As presented at the launch event, the Business Competitive Outlook 2025 report outlines four priority approaches for the government to deepen collaboration with the business sector and attract sustainable development:  

  1. Governance reform to improve the ease of doing business. 
  2. Public-private collaboration in infrastructure development to enhance socio-economic quality. 
  3. Industrialization through downstream strategies to increase value-added production. 
  4. Promotion of a green economy to align with global sustainability goals. 

The launch of the Business Competitive Outlook 2025 report reflects IBC’s continued commitment to fostering dialogue between policymakers and the private sector, ensuring that Indonesia’s growth strategy remains both competitive and sustainable.
