The Indonesian Business Council (IBC) convened its second Members’ Meeting of 2024, marking the organization’s second year since its establishment. The gathering served as a platform to review progress and outline strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing Indonesia’s competitiveness and prosperity through research and policy advocacy.
During the meeting, IBC presented updates on key initiatives, including the development of five research papers covering critical themes such as private sector contributions to national development, carbon market opportunities, good governance, financial sector growth, and industrialization strategies.
In addition, IBC formally released three policy recommendations designed to support sustainable economic growth, strengthen institutional governance, and foster innovation in both the public and private sectors.
The event brought together influential business leaders, policymakers, and experts, reinforcing IBC’s role as a thought leader in shaping Indonesia’s economic and policy landscape.
